Hi all,

I don't know if I am on the right board, but I thought this was a good place to start. I got a call yesterday from my gyno's office that my endometrial biopsy results showed complex hyperplasia with abnormal cells. I am scared. I go back tomorrow to discuss this with her and treatment options.

I have read online that hysterectomy is best for this since it will turn to cancer eventually.

Any experiences here ??? Please someone respond so I know I am not going to die from this. I have never been so scared..but then I have never had any tests come back abnormal.

P.S. I posted this on the fibroids and cancer board too. I thought then maybe since more go to this board I would have more see it.

My girlfriend went through 1.5 years with abnormal pap tests. They said the problem lied in the endometrium. She had her Uterus removed 3 months ago and never felt better.
The only thing I can support you with is that endometrial problem caught early have a 95% success rate.
So sorry you are feeling the way you are right now. Nothing worse than being psychologly battered.
