I have been doing so well for months by using only compounded progesterone, but for the last month things have changes. Now I'm waking up with morning anxiety, have started back having that doom and gloom feeling which I've not had in months, nauseated, losing weight (yeah!!!!!!!!!!!), and just feeling blah and sad.
My ob/gyn prescribed compounded biest, but I'm hesitant to use the biest.
Anyone using compounded progesterone and compounded biest? Any success? What side effects have you noticed? What is going to happen when I try to stop taking these?
Ladies I really need your input.
Thanks for your help:).

I have been taking compounded Biest thru Bellevue Pharmacy and the only thing that I can say is that it truly saved my life. I had over 25 of the menopause symptoms that started last year. As soon as they hit all in 2 days I began searching the internet for anything to help and I came upon this wonderful website. I then did a consult with Janna at Bellevue because we don't have many doctors here in Toto Land that do compounding and I've now been on them for 6 months. Janna requested an update blood work and now they have to add testosterone to them.
Right now I'm on 1.5mg sublingual tablet twice a day but now they've raised it to 3.0mg because my anxiety started coming back a little bit and the heat is killing me. I can only be outside for no more than 10 minutes if the temp is over 90 degrees or I get real sick-nausea,light headed, red all over. All this and I'm only 43. I had a partial 11 years ago and the dr. told me that I may be on the tail end because he said its worse the last years.
Don't be afraid to try it. Give it at least 2 weeks. It took me only 3 days and I was finally sleeping. I had been averaging 2 hours of sleep per night for 2-3 weeks so I was sleep deprived. That's with even taking sleeping meds. My shakes stopped and above all my panic attacks stopped. I was finally alive again. And I feel so bad for the women who suffer. My choice was to go on HRT because I could not live like that anymore. It was hurting my family and me and I figured they're worth it and so am I so I take those little pills and I'll continue taking them until my dr. feels its time to wean and if they symptoms come back then I'll go back on the pills.
I hope this helps you in your decision. Please feel free to email me and let me know how you do or if you have any more questions.
