I just started using this cream last night (1 mg.) and I felt like I had been jolted with a big cup of coffee. I didn't get any sleep I was buzzing so much.

I am supposed to use it three times a week, should I lower the amount? Use only in the morning?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, both of those are good options. Maybe a lower amount daily wouldn't jolt you as much. It should also be better after your body gets used to it being around. Doing it in the morning wouldn't hurt anything and if you tolerate it better that way, it would be to the good! What does your doctor say?

Thanks Zelma, I have not called her yet, I thought I might just see what the gals on this Board had to say. I am very new to these biodentical hormones and I am using an out of state doctor until I can find one here.

Why don;t you use it in the morning, instead of night. Our hormones are higher naturally in the am, than pm, progesteron is good for insomnia and relaxation, but testosteron does the opposite.

My doctor recently started me on a combination of progesterone 40 mg and testosterone 3 mg per ML. I am also experiencing being hyper. Really hyper. I thought the progesterone would help calm me down but I guess the testosterone is kicking in big time and I stay so hyper I can hardly stand it. I've been on this for about 4 weeks and it still is doing the same thing to me. I asked my doc about it last week and he told me to use half the dosage but it doesn't seem to be helping. Is the 3 mgs of testosterone a lot? I've never been on it before, so this is new territory for me. He prescribed this to help build better bone mass due to osteoporosis.

Thanks,
Joybelle
