I don't seem to have hot flashes per se, rather its like some one turns the heat up full blast, and it stays on all day during my period and when I ovulate. No peaks and valleys, just unrelenting heat. It starts in the centre of my chest/neck when I arise, and by the time I'm downstairs, my head is doing it's impression of "Spontaneous Human Combustion". My eyes don't feel watery, but they feel as if I'm perspiring under my eyelids!
I've tried all the suppliments on the market.
Thoughts?

Sorry I don't have an answer for an all day hot flash (you poor thing!), but if you are having the flash at night as well, you could try the chillow. I just started using it and found that it seems to help a bit. At the first sign of a hot flash I put as much of my body on the chillow as possible and I think the flash dissipates more quickly and I am able to sleep a tiny bit better because of it.

HI Winks
Some people say EPO helps - I dont get hot flashes - the one peri symptom I dont have regularly - had a few - but am happy to keep it to that - felt like someone had chucked a bucket of hot water on me and scalded me.....
My temp control is defintely off though - I dont tolerate heat/cold the same
There is quite a bit of info on some threads about what people take for this - you may find something...
best
