Well, after my horrible fling with vagi-fem.....doc has decided that I have estrogen...I am short on pregesterone... She has given me Progmetrium 200 mg. to start taking the first of June and take for 12 days and see what happens.

Anyone just use the Progesterone creams that you buy and have a success with the dryness issues. I am getting so tired of taking pills and whatever.

Anyway, please inform me, good or bad.

Hi Sweetpoison, I have had dryness and itching and burning issues. I chose not to use the HRT creams my no longer docter wanted me to take. Instead I use a natural salve, but before the salve what helped for a while was Vit. E, either the capsule snip it and use the oil or you can buy the oil alone but I havent really used just the oil, I (OOPS sorry I pressed the wrong button you will see the first posting partially finished) have used the capsules. Believe it or not another thing that helped was putting plain yogurt, yes yogurt the Acidiophilus in it helps put back the good bacteria, but I do say it was messy. Now I just stick to my natural Salves. I also take a supplement with lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacterium lactis, same thing it puts back the friendly bacteria back in the vagina are and in the gut. If you are worried about the pills maybe ask your docter if she reccomends anything on the natural side, Good luck, Tinkybug
