does anyone get any cramps throughout the month when they don't have their period? could this be a symptom as well?

Hey tclark,

Yes, occasionally, I do get abdominal cramping at other times of the month. As soon as I ovulate, I'll have cramping feelings from time to time. Also, a feeling a heaviness in the abdominal area. Guess it's caused by estrogen falling and progesterone building up. Or maybe just a hormonal imbalance. Who knows?! LOL

I was also wondering if anyone experiences cramping at various times in the month. I have started getting some ovary pain (slight) with pressure in the pelvic area/bloating/increased urination right after my period for a few days. Then a week or so later I get the ovulation pain - then I may get one or two more episodes of the cramping/pressure before my period. I feel like my ovaries are just working real hard through-out the month!!

Anybody else get this?

I had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday which showed only a small cyst on the right ovary. I also was told my uterus was enlarged equivalent to a 8 week pregnant uterus. I have alot of pain with this little cyst. I asked for a CA125 test which he agreed to but only to alleviate my worries. He told me alot of women have this heaviness that are perimenopausal. He also told me he wanted me to have a uterine biopsy because if I wanted to have a hysterectomy to remove the uterus he would have to have these tests done in order to get the insurance company to pay.

I have been told by 4 women at work that having the uterus removed did nothing to change their personality, hair, skin, etc. One website said it will cause all kinds of problems. I'm definitely tired of being awakened during the night with this pain and pressure on my rectal area also. Drives me crazy!! I have a severely retroverted uterus also!

Yes for me. This started about 4 months ago. I will get cramps as though I should start my period. Not full blown...but just enough to make me go "hmmmmm". Your not alone.
