Well, I am here again... since August 2005...when I had many symptoms and went to many tests, too. Since that , everything was okay...some irregular periods, some kind of discomfort, buth nothing else... until about a week ago...
I started having chest pain and burn , also in other parts of the body, but most in the chest area...and some pain in breast , too. Well, I am also having irregular periods... but yesterday was horrible..
I had profuse sweating and got cold when I was in some place (my friend told me my face was read) She took me home... then I got there feet cold for about two hours..dizziness... diahrea, nausea and vomiting, including the chest pain.. i got my period May 13(stillhaving it) On April was the 16 , in march the 22, in february the 26...
I had ovaries pain yesterday too, and took acetaminophen pills...
After three to four hours I felt better.. but i had that sweat for about three times in the day... then , at night I had ovary pain again and headache...and insomnia... it was so awful...
Today, I am feeling a little better...some headache and ovary pain... I forgot to tell that I have been observing that I am having some hair loss... can this be a sign, also the chest pain and burn? Can perimenopause be that bad? If this is the peri, what I could wait for the menonapuse....uffffff

Hi Chavela
Yes it can be that bad - I have had chest pain and burn - I got it checked out by Drs before I relaxed and accepted it as peri related - you sound as if you have had all the tests already.
So many aches and pains, chills, shakes, twiches, clicks, bloats, dizzies, foggies..... I wont bore you with relating them all - except to say - they move about but have affected most parts of my body at one time or another - but my main problems are chest bound and to do with digestion and PVCs.
I have had GERD since being peri - and I think some oesophageal spasm - whatever it is it is awfully uncomfortable and means I eat little and often and have lost tons of weight - not losing now due to stringent healthy diet and eating every 3 hours during day
You sound as if you are having a rough time - sometimes the symptoms just get on top of us - I have weeks when I cope (I say cope cos I never have a 'normal' day now!) - and then wham! - I feel completely rotten again - body in downspin - head a mess - insomnia worse than normal (I barely sleep these days) - the unpredictablity makes it so hard to cope with
I am glad you had some respite since August - and sorry it has come back with a vengeance
As they say - this too will pass - I take each day as it comes
Hugs

Hi Mele!!!
Thanks for your words... they gave comfort to me. But believed me, although I am almost sure it is hormonal related, I still get worried and confused. Specially when those symptoms comes and goes... today I felt a little better. I had less burning and pain. I took your example and had little food, I ate every three hours and I think that helped... I had those tests on last August, but by that time I didnt had the chest burning and pain. The pain was in other part of the body. I had pelvic and abdominal ct scans and a pelvic sonogram..everything was okay...
Well, it is matter of time. I hope everything goes better. If no, I will have to consider treatment.

Hi Chavela
I also wanted to add that Anxiety can do horrible things to our body also. It almost sounds to me like you might have even experienced a panic attack on top of your other troubles. I know this is going to sound really dumb but just remember to try and stay calm. I know when my Peri started I had thought I was dying and would feel nauseated all the time and constantly feeling like I was going to faint. But once I got my Anxiety under control my symptoms started to lessen a little. Don`t get me wrong my symptoms didn`t go away...I guess I just learned to deal with them a little bit better.
Our bodies our going through some serious changes right now....and It puts alot of stress on our minds which in turn affects our bodies as well....
Try to hang in there. And don`t every hesitate to come on in here and look for someone to answer a question or just to cry or vent a little...This is a wonderful place with alot of wonderful Ladies...
Welcome to PS..
Lots of Luv and {{{hugs}}}
Christina

I think a lot of us have been where you are now. It wouldn't hurt to have yourself checked by a Dr.better safe than sorry, but probably this is all peri-related. I'll tell you what helped me out was to go into the chat room and chat with women going through similar problems. It gets busy at night but you still may find 1 or 2 around during the day. Insta chat can be found at the bottom of most screens including this one. It didn't take away the physical but sure helped the emotional. Hang in there, this too will pass.

Chavela,
Your symptoms do sound like perimenopause and my heart goes out to you.
From experience, don't over-think your symptoms, rather try to rest a little bit more. Get out in the sun for a few moments, it REALLY helps mentally. I've been through all this and still am - and at times get so wound up I just can't think straight. Don't let that happen to you if you catch it early.
The worst for me was the anxiety from over-thinking every single symptom. Still have anxiety mainly in the morning before I go to work. I did go from full-time to part-time but that anxiety in the mornings comes along ONLY on the days I have to go to work - strange but I am working on it.
Please listen to your body and take more care of yourself - pamper yourself a little more when you are feeling down or are anxious. It helps.
Take care,
Tina
