Does anyone experience pain in the palms of their hands, especially around the fat pad of the thumb ? It seems to be really intense this month and my period is due within a week.
I was just wondering if anyone else felt this?
Another troublesome symptom concerns allergies and sinus trouble. It seems that I've had almost contant post nasal drip which causes mucous buildup in my throat. Maybe it's seasonal pollen, or maybe food allergies. But the glands in my throat seem very large and tender. It's more pronounced when I lay down. I've been to the doctor but everything "checks out" (of course it does).
Anyone bothered by this as well ?
Hugs to all.

Yes, I have the pain in the palms of my hands and sometimes it's just one hand. This started since I've been perim. Sometimes the pain is very intense but thankfully, mine never lasts more than a few minutes at a time. It does return, but I am not bothered by it every day. I don't know about the timing of it with my periods, as my periods are now so irregular.

I am in the middle of my period and I found that I was having pain in the middle of my palms. I thought maybe I had over-exerted myself but then my wrists really started paining me also. I also have been experiencing severe leg aches from my knees up to my hips. Sometimes it would be so bad that it hurt to move my legs. Other times the aching was there but it wasn't so bad. Does anyone else have this? I went to the doctor today who took blood work to see if I am indeed going through peri-menopause, although the doctor said that it sounds like it.

yes, I have the exact same leg pains that you described- they started up along with a host of other muscle aches and tingings and pains about 2 months ago. Somedyas are worse than others. Other days, I don't have them in my legs - just my arms. My leg pains sometimes go from my knee to my hip as well. I am confident it is another "joy" of perimenopause for me. Sure can be painful and even a bit scary when it's really acting up. kathleen

Hi -
That's something with the palm pain right before your period...
According to the reflexology book I have shows the wrist area in your hand is the "pelvic floor line" and up to the thumb shows the "waist line"...In the palm area is everything from your waist to the pelvic...The uterus, ovaries, etc. would be in that area.
So maybe that's why your having pain in the palms right before your period.
In case your not aware of reflexology - Every part of your body has ending nerves in the feet and hands...and if you massage those specific areas in the hands and feet - you should have some relief within the physical body...
For instance - if you have a headache, including sinus - massage your toes of the feet and fingers of the hands..you should have some relief...
Blessings,
Stacy

Hi Suzy, I too have recently been bothered by achiness in the fleshy part of my palm under the thumb. It comes and goes. Up until a couple of months ago I had had a chronic sore throat and my glands kept going up and down, for over a year. I also suffer from post nasal drip. I started taking a product called threelac which is a probiotic designed to deal with symptoms of candida, back in march. My throat condition has improved immeasurably since then but I still get the post nasal drip. Might be worth considering if you have any of the other symptoms of candida overgrowth (Lots of online info about this.) Take care, Jess
