For the last couple of months I have had a itchy, crawly burning feeling (like if I stuck my hand in fiberglass insulation) on my the top of my hands and it is driving me crazy. Sometimes but not often I will get itchy feet. I saw on a list of symptons that this was listed. When I did ask my gyne about the itchy feelings she said she hasn't heard of it as being a sympton. She did do a liver functions blood test on me that came back normal. So what I would like to know if any one else has had this and if so did you find a way to manage it? Any info would be helpful. Hello cherilou -
Welcome to Power Surge... The itchy, crawling feeling is a symptom of peri.meno... See the list of 34 Symptoms - and I believe it is symptom #15 that talks about it. Best wishes.

Yes, yes, yes! I've had the itchy feeling on my hands and really bad on my feet. It's maddening! No one has ever been able to explain to it to me. Sometimes when it happens I take Benadryl...I don't know if it helps, or just puts me to sleep. At least you are not alone!!!

I get a spot on my belly every once in a while that itches so bad - then it goes away. Drives me nuts because there is nothing there.

I have the itchy/crawley feeling. It first started about 4 years ago and my Dr put me on Hydroxyzine. I still take it from time to time. I can go weeks with no itching, but then it will come back full blast out of the blue. If I take a whole pill, it will last indefinately. I had no clue that my itching could be peri-related until I found this website.

Thank you all for your responses. Atleast now I don't feel as if I am going crazy with this itching.
