I had no idea that this could be a symptom of M. And obviously my gyn didnt either. She put me on an antibiotic suppository for 5days, this is day 2 and its not getting better. I had slight symptoms b4 my pap smear a month ago.....pap was normal. Now my vagina looks like a baboons butt......wish it were as funny as it sounds. Funny, there is no discharge or smell.....and the gyn said she saw alot of white cells on the microscope, said it was definetly an infection.

Im seeing my naturopath on Friday, maybe she'll have some ideas/solutions. But thought Id post here as I saw the 4page thread on the subject and was surprised that it could be hormone related. Im on estrace (pill) but this all started before the HRTs....but now its far worse.

And its not burning down my legs as others posted on the other thread......so maybe its something else?

If your doc is seeing white blood cells, wouldn't that indicate that it IS infection?

I know that with bladder infections, I don't always bounce right back when on antibiotics (unfortunately!). It can take a week, or a couple of rounds.

Hope you feel much better soon - that sounds painful!
