It is so great to have found this section of this site. This may sound like a broken record, but here is what happened to me. I have noticed lately after sex that I will funny for a few days afterwards - just sort of uncomfortable and having to urinate more often. Over the holidays though I thought I had a vaginal infection - lots of burning that kept getting worse. So, I used Monistat which burned like crazy, so I switched to Gynelotrimin which was better but still burned. Having finished the three days, the burning did not go away, so I went to the doctor. She did a bacterial test which came back normal, and no yeast, so she decided it was vaginal dryness due to menopause. I haven't had a period in a year. She prescribed the estrogen cream which I really don't want to use. I do not take HRT, made that decision, and especially with the new findings, I don't want to use this either. I have been using Vitamin E internally and externally which has helped considerably with the burning - I think all of that Monistat and Gynelotrimin just burned me so badly. But, I never feel quite right - now it is slightly itchy, slightly burning - just not comfortable. I guess I just need to know that I am not alone and have suggestions from others as to how they cope. Most of menopause I have handled well - hot flashes, night sweats etc., just don't let it get to me. But, this one bothers me. Besides being uncomfortable, I don't want it affecting sex with my husband and don't want to worry about not feeling right after. Thanks to all of you for your great posts and for this wonderful community of women.

Hi everyone I am new to this site but I can relate to a lot of what you are saying. I get burning just around the entrance to the vagina and also outside on the vulva. I am using premarin cream but this seems to irritate slightly . I am also about to start using the triple oil which I saw recommended on this site.I am living in the U.K. and I don,t think you can get estrace here. If so my doctor doesn,t know about it.a question for Gail what is in balneol? I have not been able to find it here only Balneum which is made from soya oil. Hope you are all getting better I will let you know I get on with the triple oil. Lots of love Mo.

Momilsom,Balneol is a soothing lotion for the perianal and external vaginal areas. It has no fragrance so as not to irritate. You can use it as many times a day as you want. You may have to ask your pharmacist to order it for you It is made by Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Marietta, Georgia.
I have used Premarin cream in the beginning but it did not do any good. Now I use Estrace cream at night only on the outside areas and in the morning I have started using Replens only on the outside areas. You can insert Replens but I have not done this as it is helping me just using it on the outside areas. I only have to use a very samll amount. Good Luck and hope this helps you. Gail

Hi All! I haven't been on the boards for awhile. I am having a bad problem with vaginal dryness which includes burning and also anal burning. I think also a hemorrhoid has flared up. I hae had this overtime and it has not given me many problems. But now it seems I am getting it from both ends here.I first thought I had a yeast infection but that seemed to not be the case. Now they put me on antibiotics for some bacteria problem but they are not even sure this is what I have. They also gave me DiFlucan along with this so I won't get a yeast problem. I still find it very painful every day here. I think it could be a combination of things. My vaginal smear showed some fecal contamination which I have no idea how this happened. I started using the estriol vaginal cream every night now for a week. I am just at a loss what to do. I had stopped most of my hormones and maybe this was a mistake. I now started back on the progesterone. All of this is compounding by the way. I use to take the vivelle patch and had some left over. I decided to put one on today. I am just so desperate here. I guess I have to call the doctor again but I just hate this. I never thought that postmeno which I am now would be this bad.I was doing so well for awhile here. Please any suggestions?
Thanks
Anita
Anita,
Sorry you are having this problem. I can certainly relate as I have been bothered by this since 1997 and really have not found any answers. I myself was doing so much better for several months even after going all hormones. My hot flashes have calmed down to where I don't think I need hormones, but lately I seem to be having more burning in the vulva and anal area. If you find and answer for this problem please post and let us know.

Gail thanks for your letter here. I wonder why I didn't get a notice that you had replied here. Also does anyone know what happened to the insta-chat? I can't seem to find that here.
I went to the doctor today and she stil has me on the antibiotics but gave me a yeast med that she said is better than diflucan. She said sometimes that doesn't work. She also gave me a external cream for the vagina and the rectum. She said it is a antifungal thing. I am not sure about all of this. You know how these doctors are. I will give this a try and see what happens. I still say it has to be the hormones here.I also don't have bad hot flashes at all. This burning is awful and the frequent urination. So I will just see how it goes. If this doesn't work I can try the estriol and also the vivelle patch and see what happens. I also went back on progesterone. The doctor did tell me to stop the estrogen for awhile. So I am just not sure. I will take it day by day here. I just want this to go away.I'm sorry you have this also.
Anita
Anita,
What is the antifungal medication you are using. I have not tried that. I went through all sorts of tests over the years and came up with nothing......no infection, no yeast, nothing. Also off and on I will have the frequent urination. Sometimes I think it has to do with diet and what I am eating. Until recently I had not had that problem for months and the burning was better, but now is returning. I do notice that my hot flashes have increased some and so has the burning, so I do think this has to do with hormones. I wonder if it ever levels out and the burning and hot flashes subside. I felt like I was doing so well for months and now it is coming back. Please let me know what you find out and if you find something to stop this burning. Does it bother you to sit and walk? Certain clothes I wear aggravate the condition too. Catch you later.

Gail nice to see you post. I am still not being notified when there is a letter here. Are you?
The antifungal they gave me for only external use both on the vagina and rectum is called Nystatin/Triamcinolone. Think one is a antifungal and the other is a steroid. But it seems this is making me burn more.I am not doing well. I did notice when I put the estriol on it seems much better. So I also think this is hormones. I also was doing great for months. I think I remember you had some itching also on the feet right? If I have this wrong let me know.My itching has also stopped.
Now I think my hormones must have taken a dive here. If that is the case I know my doctor told me using estriol vaginal cream will help but it can take 4 weeks to see the results. I just want relief now. Yes it is hard to walk and sit. Some clothes also bother me more.I hate the frequent urination. I bet I never any any yeast problems and no bacterial either. They weren't sure about this and just gave me this to try. Today I am seeing my internist about other matters. What a mess here.
So sorry you have this also. It has to be hormones. I am going to try using the vivelle patch. See what happens and I started back on prosterone. Are you taking any hormones?
Anita
Anita,
Yes, I am being notified of all the posts. They are just on my e-mail when I check it during the day. There used to be a box you could check on if you wanted e-mail notification of the posts or replies. I checked before I e-mail this to you and I don't see it anymore. Maybe someone else knows about this and can answer. I did notice that if you click on help it mentions this feature. When you go to post a reply look to the left of the screen under Post Options and click on the help and it mentions this feature, but again I could not find it.
I stopped my hormones in Nov. 2002 and have been doing pretty good. The only thing I use is Estrace vaginal cream at night and I only use it on the outside area. I stopped inserting it vaginally a long time ago. I felt it was causing me to have a heavier period. Now I don't have any periods and haven't for about 6 to 8 months....thank goodness.....I hope they do not return.
I had the burning feet, but they did not itch. It seemed to be related to the burning vulva/anal problem. If I start burning in the vulva/anal area my feet would also burn. My GYN says it has something to do with the nerve endings being connected which I do believe this now. When my feet are massaged when I have the burning it definitely helps the burning in this area. Lately, like the past month the burning has returned some which is so depressing. Not being able to sit comfortably or walk or do anything that aggravates is so depressing for me so I really do understand what you are going through. By the way how old are you? I am 53.
A GYN I used to go to gave me a steroid when I kept complaining about the burning to try and all it did was make things much worse with the burning. It also caused inflammation. I stopped it. My dermatologist told me never to use steroids in this area because it thins the skin more and we don't want that since it is already thinning.
The over the counter creams I have found that helped me are Balneol which is fragrance free and very soothing. You can get this is the drugstore or they can order it for you if they don't have it. You can use it as many times a day as you need. Also I have tried all those vaginal lubricants and the one I like best is Replens and again I only use it on the outside in the mornings after I shower. I have had to use some kind of lubricant daily now since 1997 when everything started going haywire it seems. I don't know why the burning is starting up again...maybe because of the heat.....it is so hot here in FL.
About the frequent urination. I have found that caffein aggravates this. Also junk food, spicy foods , artificial sweetners. I notice if I drink sodas it is definitely worse. I drink lots of water during the day and this helps. I don't have this problem as much anymore. It used to be pretty constant. I had tests done but it never shows infection. Acid irritates the lining of the bladder and can cause this problem. Sometimes the urologist told me to put a little baking soda...about a half teaspoon in about 6 ounces of water and drink it. This I find helps. It neutralizes the acid.
If you find a cure for this let me know. I would certainly like to stop using lubricants. I like you am hoping this is not going to continue forever. Sorry this is so lengthy. Did not mean to get so carried away.

Hi Gail! Nice to see your letter. I am not getting notified about answers here. I asked Dearest and she told me they are not doing this any more because they were having problems. If you ever want to contact me right away or just write me privately please write me at Benwho@webtv.net
I never heard of Baneol? What is this? Is it a vaginal lubricant or what?My drugstore also did not hear of this.
That is very interesting about the steroids and the thinness and the dryness. I remember reading this and I had forgotten about this. I know this cream they just gave me was a antifungal and a steroid and when I put it on boy did it burn. I used it about two days and then I stopped. I'm glad now I stopped this. I am now going to look at things and make sure I don't have any steroids. I noticed one hemorrhoid cream I had was a steroid also. I stopped that also.I'm having a flare up with this hemorrhoid also now. Just what I needed.LOL!
I'm not that familiar with estrace. What is in this?I know I have found out that estriol a compounding cream is the best thing you can use to restore the vagina and the tissues. I stopped this yeast med last night. They gave me that plus this antibiotic which I think is making things worse. I only have one more day on the antibiotic and then I will go back to the estriol. I notice if I lubricate myself a lot I don't have to urinate as much. Strange!
I use replens also, the estriol but had stopped that and maybe that is why I am having problems now. I also use Vagigard vaginal lubricant. That is pretty good also and cheap.I also had stopped compounding progesterone and estrogen. I also wonder if my hormones took a real dive here.I am post meno and haven't had a period for about one year and 240 days.I am 56.
You might want to try the estriol cream to see if this helps. I think you need to insert it in the vagina to help the tissues. This might work for you. I know my doctor told me that the estriol will work but can take a few weeks until you see the difference.
Is estrace estriol or estradiol? That might be why it is not helping you.
I use to also get that burning feet and the itching. I find I can still get this on and off but not like it was. I find if I get overheated they get bright red and burn a bit. Lately it has been very good. At least that's a plus for me. My feet were never related to the burning vagina/rectum etc. I just got this for the first time.
I am hoping things will get better. I sometimes use the vivelle patch at a very low dose but haven't done that also in awhile. I thought maybe I didn't need all of this stuff any more. I think our hormones still go up and down. When they do this we have these problems. I can't wait for them to stop doing that.
Hope you feel better.

Just adding my .02--I experienced vaginal burning years ago. Asked my gyno if it could be related to using latex condoms, as I had trouble using latex gloves. Told it was impossible. Changed to lambskin anyway, and burning went away. A few years ago I read a medical article stating women could experience vaginal burning with latex gloves if they have a latex allergy. This is the same gyno who told me my swollen sinuses during pregnancy were not related to pregnancy, even though they cleared up upon delivery. They now call this "pregnancy rhinitis". Guess who ISN'T my gyno anymore?

Just thought i'd add this which i read in a magazine over here in the UK. About vaginal dryness during menopause. What was recommend was Sea buckthorn oil capsules, also to try Menoflavon. All these are natural supplements. A woman wrote saying she was having terrible problems with vaginal dryness which was affecting her sex life and was recommend to try these tabs. She said she took them and after a month she started to notice a difference. She has took it ever since. Hope this helps.
Take care Pauline

I have never heard of Sea Buckthorn oil capsules or Manoflavon. Where do you get these products? In a health food store? I would like to check them out as I have had severe vaginal dryness for about 5 years. Gail

Hi Gail
I think you are in Florida right. Have to say i am in England and it was in a English Magazine called Woman. So not sure if you can get them over where you are. What i think i would do is do a search on the internet for the oil and Menoflavon and see what comes up. You might be able to get it over there.let us know how you get on. here is what is in the oil Omega 7 essential fatty acids extracted from berries of a plant called sea buckthorn.

I noticed a couple of posts here about burning pain running down the legs....I have been suffering with this now for about 3 months or so. My gyne just diagnosed me as being menopausal a week ago. My FSH was at 60. I started out with severe vaginal burning and tender achey pain thru out entire pelvic area. The vaginal burning has died down considerably but this aching just won't quit...sitting is so difficult but my job requires me to sit 8 hours a day. The pain now seems to start around my tailbone and lower back, runs down both butt checks, down the backs of my legs, inner thighs, and some days all the way to the bottoms of both feet. I started taking prometium 200 mg last week...that was supposed to start my period but so far nothing. Then I am supposed to use vivelle dot patch and prometrium 100mg there after. I never fully understood the meaning of "mid-life crisis" till now. When I tried to tell my husband what was going on his only reply was "so does this mean you are going to grow a thicker beard than mine?" I cannot even begin to tell you what that did to me emotionally. Like I wasn't already depressed enough. I barely recognize the person I see in the mirror every day. In 3 months time I have aged so dramatically, what a horrible journey this is turning into. I work 2 jobs, one in an office, the other as a massage therapist. As a therapist I am supposed to help others to heal, and here I sit unable to heal myself. I have turned into a 45 year old cry baby, and don't understand how I could totally lose myself in such a short period of time. Can somebody please tell me how to make this pain go away?

There are a couple of estrogen vaginal creams that you could use that might help. I believe one is Estrace. There is a Premarin cream, but I wouldn't use that. There is also the Estring, which you put in and stays put until you have to change it. I've used the cream, and that did help somewhat. You use it only as frequently as you need to. They are both prescription. Of course, there are also lubricants that you buy over the counter that might help.
I'm sorry your husband was so insensitive. It really hurts to hear crap like that. I'm really sorry. Come to Power Surge! We'll give you support!
Lots of hugs,

Just want you to know when I was 45 I began experiencing the same burning symptoms, with pain running down my legs - my husband thought I was nuts, too! At the time, I just stopped taking hormones due to migraines. My gyn was unable to figure out what the problem was - I had numerous pap smears - no infection. I began to research on the web and found info on "vulvodynia" - the symptoms matched mine. Some of the extreme cases were reported by women in their twenties. The good news is now at age 51, my symptoms have subsided. As I marched through perimenopause, the bouts with pain lessened. I found that the triple oil mixture mentioned on this site was very soothing. I also discovered the requisite menopause weight gain helped - guess the extra fat compensated for the hormone loss. Don't give up hope.......these hormone dips are like the worst roller coaster ride. The mid-life crisis psyche will pass in time, too. Hang in there!

What are bioidenticals?
CSugarGrove
May 27 2004, 04:25 PM
It appears that no one answered this post, and I'm certainly not an expert. I think that bioidenticals are a kind of hormone replacement therapy made up of natural ingredients that are compounded exactly like the ones you used to have, but I could be wrong.
I actually came to this message board because a burning vagina is about the only complaint I still have besides hot flashes and I'm getting used to these after five years.

Anyhow, I was looking for some explanations about why the burning occurs. I have gone about 20 months without a period and I am taking one and a half Revival Soy bars every day. Nothing else. I don't have the intensity of symptoms like not being able to wear jeans or having the burning going down my legs and on the soles of my feet. Mine is just a faint burning before I take a shower. It kind of reminds me of when I was little and rode a boy's bicycle and maybe struck myself on that cross bar (which hurt!) Or the feeling I had one time when I had a yeast infection from taking antibiotics. It is like the beginning of something but it never gets worse, and cleansing seems to get rid of it until it is time for the next shower.
From the info in the posts here, I guess this is a common complaint at post menopause, which I am in now. I will see my doctor in a week for the cha-cha check

(Pap smear) and maybe then I'll ask her about it.

Hi, everyone. I just found this site yesterday and have found it fascinating. I, too have a vaginal burn, but mine is only after my shower. I am 53 and have tried every soap I can think of, my thought being that it is soap that is causing this. I have even tried Neutrogena because it is the clearest soap I can find. This problem is driving me crazy! I refuse to take HRT, use Replens, am going to try balneol, but would very much appreciate if anyone could suggest a good, very gentle soap. I have had every symptom of menopause, but think this is one of the most aggravating! I read in a book somewhere not to use any soap at all. EWW! The book said that simply using water when you shower would clean the area, but the thought makes me sick. Like many of you here, my sex life has been shot by this which is a great pity because I enjoyed it. Luckily, my husband is very understanding, but I'm not! I hate this symptom and can't understand why it only begins acting up after my shower or sex. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you all. P.S. I used to live in Bath and Body. I tried every soap they had and loved them all! So much for that and goodbye to all those lovely scents.

Hi Irish! WELCOME

Yes, I would agree that this is ONE agravating symptom. Urinary tract infections - UTI - Yet another system imbalance. When our system is IN balance our body takes care of it. When it's NOT lotsa things cause this burning sensation symptom... Bacteria, agravation, tight clothing, tampons, intercourse, diet....It can be not only annoying, but HARMFUL if not kept in check as it can turn into a bladder infection (cystitis) and also affect the kidneys...so you should always see a doctor for this if it persists. I have learnt(mostly) how to knock it on the head as soon as the first symptoms arise......check out this site as well as the web - type in "burning sensation", "UTI", "vulvodynia" or "cystitis"
I use Acidophilus capsules (or yoghurt)and or cranberry tabs and also a salts effervescence drink - URAL - urinary alkalinizer - at the first sign of an impending infection and also lay of the tomatoes, vinegars and all acidic foods and drink - alchohol, fruit juices etc. Sex is definately a no no with this one for me. When you do the search, you will see how delicate we have become in already delicate and sensative areas.......it surely is a BUGGER!

~ I no longer use soap except for arm pits and feet!

Jimi: Thanks for your response. I will try to find URAL, but don't know if we have it in the U.S. The thought of not using soap on certain areas makes me sick. What do you use instead? Simply water as I read in a book? Thank you very much for responding. Have a great day in your part of the world!

Yep - just water - I bathe every day in an old fashioned footed bathtub for 20 - 30 minits.....and everything gets a good soak and clean if you know what I mean...but nope! - no soap...maybe my friends are just too kind lol

Jimi: I have noticed that people outside the U.S. have very different opinions of these things. In most cases, the things I have read concerning what people do in other countries turn out to be TRUE! In most cases I have found, they simply seem to know more and take things more naturally then we do here in the U.S. It was a doctor in Great Britain, after all, who first explained my anxiety disorder to me, when no doctor in the U.S. seemed to know anything about it. This was forty years ago and now, the U.S. knows much more, but back then, when I was a thirteen year old girl looking for answers, they knew nothing! Thank you so much for your response. I tried the no soap thing last night. Just water, no soap, no BURN! Thank you so much for your response! Love and peace.

So far, so good. I think I have solved my problem with burning. Many posts ago, Raimi suggested not using toilet paper with softeners. I had recently purchased some of this and it occurred to me that the burning problems began at about the same time. So I bought some plain stuff and no more burning. This could be a coincidence, or maybe not, but thought I'd throw it out there....

I recently had this problem and went to the health food store and spoke to a woman there. She told me to try a product called The Essential Woman - the oil not the pills. It is an oil made with evening primrose oil, Flaxseed oil, lignans, isofavones and rosemary and soy. I make a smoothie for breakfast and add the Tab. of this oil.
Since I've tried this - about 2 mths - after about 2 weeks I was much more lubricated all over. My skin even looks better - my bowels work better - no more constipation and my vagina also is more lubricated. This oil works well for me hope it works for others. Sometimes I skip a day or two or use less than suggested and it still works.
Try it maybe you'll like it.....
Hope it helps, we all need to find what works for us.

I've been away from the boards seems like forever! So many major issues have happened. In a nutshell, my sweet hubby was diagnosed with 3 cancers last May: bone cancer in his right foot, lymphoma and prostate cancer.
In June we went out of town for his surgeries: right leg amputation below the knee and abdominal surgery for the lymphoma.
That's when my vaginal burning came back with a vengeance! I guess I had neglected using my Estrace vaginal cream or it was the stress. I thought I was getting an UTI. When we got home after his discharge from the hospital, I started using the Estrace and things got better.
But the stress in ongoing, now my hubby is on chemo for the lymphoma and it kills me to see him waste away.
Also I just had a cold and used cold tablets that must have dried my vagina out along with my sinuses and that's when the burning got worse. I forgot to use the Estrace again and whenever I have not used it for a while it burns like crazy when I get back to it. I'm going to start using it again anyway just to see if this awful burning gets better.
My last period was in 98 and I have long been over the hot flashes, mood swings etc... I take a Revival shake every day. The only meno problem I have is this horrible burning. Can't hardly sit, can't wear jeans, hard to go to sleep at night. During the day, while I'm busy and not sitting too much, it's tolerable. Driving or riding in the car makes it worse, and that's a problem because I drive 5 hours a day for my job. Help, sisters! I sure don't need any extra pain right now!

Annie: My God, you have really been through the wringer. It's no wonder burning vagina is bothering you! I had the same problem for about a year and tried every medication available and every soap I could find. What worked for me and it is strange that it did because Ivory soap will most often dry your skin anywhere, but they make this new kind of Ivory with aloe. I tried it in desperation after trying Neutrogena, Basis, Caress, etc. etc. etc. and Vagisil and all the other creams offered. As I said, I had the problem for over a year and when I tried the new Ivory with aloe, it went away. I can't say for certain if it was the Ivory with aloe that made it stop or if it was just my time for that annoying symptom to be over, but it is worth giving it a try. I feel for your situation. May God shine upon you and your husband! You need a big break and I pray you get it! God bless.

Thanks for the suggestion, Irish51.
I did try some aloe vera, I had this 100% pure gel and I used it as a soap. It seemed to soothe me a bit. After 3 days of using my Estrace cream the irritation is a lot less. I'm not going to neglect to use it anymore, regardless of what disaster is taking place! I had been a bit worried about using it everyday but I'll take the risk if it does away with the burning!

Do any of you notice a change in the skin w/ this burning? I do. I notice that my labia is all wrinkly now. It's embarrassing!! And I also have the anal itching too. No doctor knows what this is. I also now have tiny white spots on my labia, which no one can explain. They are on my nipples too. This is all new. I am really much too young to be going through peri. I'm very young! This makes no sense to me. But owww my china hurtsss.

I had vaginal itching for 10 years - it just about drove me crazy. One day, I began taking an Ester-C supplement (Vitamin C but with the acid reduced), and the itching went away! I never had burning with it, just the incessant itching.
Has anyone mentioned the low-oxalate diet on this thread? Some people with vaginal burning are helped by a low-oxalate diet - this is the same diet given to people prone to forming kidney stones. Some foods, such as spinach and other greens (and chocolate, unfortunately), are very high in oxalates. I'm sure you can google "low oxalate diet" and get further info. Usually people on this diet supplement with calcium citrate, which is said to cause further improvement.
Just wanted to mention. A friend of mine has been on the diet for 1 month, and has seen lots of improvement on it.

Hi, I have recently found a product that gave me great relief and have attached the website below. It is an herbal remedy and it worked overnight for me.
***** Femamoist link removed
I am 60 and had my last period at the age of 56. I withdrew off of HRT (the patch and compounded progesterone from Pete Heuseman) and am feeling great. There is life after menopause! I have more energy and only an occasional quick hot flash. I just started with the vaginal dryness and hopefully found a remedy for that.
Hang in there, ladies!

Oh MamaMia is a hot MamaMia

...
Ok, Ok I'll try to stop teasing you

.... This must be an uncomfortable feeling for you - there's got to be something here at Power Surge that explains is - I just don't know where!!!
Was there a pattern of the warmth? After sex? After (or before) your period? After you have a regular hot flash? After a anxiety attack? Or maybe another pattern. Does it last long?
Blessings,
Stacy

The topic of this FOUR PAGE THREAD is entitled "Burning Vagina" so, NO you are not the only one.
This started happening to me several years ago- then it stopped- then it started again, and now it's stopped again.
It would happen for a few days in a row then go away for maybe a few days or maybe a few months.
I use to keep track of it on my calendar like I did all my symptoms, after a year or so of this I realized there was no pattern, so I threw my calendar away
Maybe it's natures way of saying USE IT OR LOSE IT!! LMAO

Personally, I'd rather use it

SpiceyMama...yesterday was the first time ever that sensation happened to me...I was going through the board and I was sitting here...all of a sudden, I felt warm..inside, then the warmth increased..then it was like WOAH!!!! it lasted about 10 mins..then it happened again about 1/2 hr later, lasting the same..then about 5 hours later I had another one.
It wasnt hurting, nor was it stingin...it was like an internal hot flash
IN my hoochie!!

I did start my period this afternoon, and boy have I got the cramps and dizzies now too...and boobabloobies are huge!!!(and the colostrum has started again) I told BF he left too soon..heh
Double07, yeah hun I know, but I read through this whole thing and no one posted about a "HotFlashy" thingy, mainly irritations and the such....(and I did use it..a couple of times last week

) So are you sayin u have /had this??? Im kinda dense right now, somethings arent making sense to me...

Hmmm, this is very interesting MamaMia and Leanne.... I learn something new every day at Power Surge. If I have the warmth in the hoochie - I won't worry because like most symptoms of peri. is that is does go away...Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Actually DaMomma, I am thinking that is not a bad thing, the warming sensation..I think people buy products for that kind of an effect!

You know, i thought i was losing my mind this whole time. I cannot tell you how happy i was to know that there was a 4-page thread on burning vaginas...lol. At first I thought I had vulvodynia but the more I am reading this website the more I am convinced I am perimenopausal. My mom went into menopause in her 40's and I am 35 so I guess its my turn.... I hope to god this burning stops one day though. My poor husband....
