I have always had fibroidcystic breasts. It is difficult to see clearly on a mamogram so I have had ultra sound to detect any abnormalities. On my last visit to my Obgyn last week she detected a "fiberous area." She said it was not a lump, nor did it have any edges etc. and didn't think it was anything to be alarmed about. Tell that to my stomach! She mentioned that I was due for my mamogram and she would note to have that area ultrsounded.

I am going this Friday, and all week I have been freaking out. I have researched the subject and have heard that this type of breast condition is usually not cancer. Has anyone or does anyone have experience with this?
