Can I get some feedback on those who have used Rescue Remedy amd whether it's really effective with anxiety? I seem to have a lot more anxiety than full blown PA's. Rescue Remedy has 27% alcohol!!

Gia: I've tried Rescue Remedy many times and it did absolutely nothing for me. I read how it's made, and it sounds very sketchy to me...the 'energy' from flowers or something like that. On the other hand, I know people who swear by it, so who am I to question whether or not it works. Yeah, I know about the alcohol, but I think you only use a few drops...

If you can find a good Dr. of Herbology in your area go to them, adn tell them about your anxiety. THey will put together a tincture that will completely take away the anxiety..called 'compassionage sage"..
I' take it when i'm anxious, and my accupuncturist is the one who gives it to me, she is also a dr. of herbology. It's works wonders. As soon as I begin to feel the least bit anxious, I put two drops under my tongue and it totally goes away....
there is no alcohol or addiltives in it..it's totally herbal...it's wonderful..

Lisa,
Do you know which herbs they use in the tincture you get? I don't live in an area known for alternative medicines, so I'm not sure who to trust. If I had an idea of what is in it, I could at least sound educated when I try to talk to someone about it!

I have a bottle right here, it say for stress relief> Anxiety? I like it seems to relax me... of couse I don't drink so maybe it's the 27% alcohol.

i don't think it is the alcohol content! a drop or two can't contain much at all.. it did seem to help me with a house move one year when the world started falling in on top of me at the same time.. maybe it was only a placebo affect, but i didn't care at the time...

I agree with zen. It seems to work for me too. Calms me down within about 15 mins. May be a placebo effect but I'm not complaining! Whatever works at this point! You just have to get past the alcohol taste!

I just take a drink of something after.

I've been taking rescue remedy in my OJ every morning as a preventative for over a week now. I like it a lot better than the valerian I was taking

I use RR on occasion and find that it takes the edge off my anxiety. It doesn't however take all the anxiety away.
