I have been getting this feeling off and on for about a yr. When it does happen it is always right after I get up or I wake in the middle of the night....it feels as if all my insides are just quivering or something without me visably shaking on the outside, only lasts about a few min. Is this the internal shaking everyone here is talking about? MIkki

Mikki, that's it! You are not alone! Don't let it upset you. It eventually goes away by itself.

Hi mixie,

Yes, thats exactly what we are talking about..as Meryl said don't let it upset you.

Its just fluctuating hormones wink.gif This exact thing happens to me too and as you continue to read...you will see this is common among many, many women.

Sunflower I am confused about Internal Shaking- tremors too. In fact I have never even posted under this topic before. it has happened before but yesterday I was having it pretty bad, at first I thought maybe a anxiety attack but it was like I was shaking but looking at my hands I wasn't.
felt like I was purring???
After coming here I believe this to be Internal Shaking. It's really a strange feeling! Is there anything that helps? feels much worse if I lay or set still and mine lasted maybe a hour...
YUCK a new symptom for me>> growl! sad.gif

I had this too, starting just before and lasting through most of my period, for a couple months last summer. I could feel it during the day but it was especially bothersome at bedtime as I already had insomnia problems without the shaking. I later described it to my doc as feeling like I was "shaking like a leaf" inside but no visible signs of shaking or tremors. He just looked at me odd and said "huh, I've never heard of that before." Don't you wish these doctors could have all 34 symptoms for a few months so they would understand what we are experiencing?
