Help! I have posted here before. I was always very regular with my periods - 28 - 31 days. Two years ago, I went 6-7 weeks, but then got right back on track. I had a period this past December 1st, then NOTHING until January 27th when I started spotting. This lasted until February 3rd when I got a full blown period. Since then I have been spotting almost every day. Most days it is not much at all - a regular tampon would last all day and then some. unsure.gif I feel fine otherwise, but I am so scared that it is cancer! I have a doctor's appointment for March 14th for my annual exam. Had a Pap and checkup a year ago and all was fine. Can anyone put my mind at ease?

Hi Smvdelv,

I will try to put your mind at ease. I am sure your next pap will be just fine. I just experienced something like what you're doing. I skipped a period in October. Started one the day before Thankgiving. Since then my periods have started 21, 20 and 18 days apart. In January, I only had 9 days that I didn't bleed or spot. I started spotting on the 21st of January and that period or whatever it was lasted 27 days. Mostly spots but did have some days of normal flow and a few days of heavy flow. Finally ended on Feb. 16th. So far, so good....nothing yet. I have read on here that sometimes we do this when we are finally coming to an end to the periods. All I can say is, I sure hope so!! I was always very regular too. Hang in there kiddo. smile.gif

Same thing here pretty much. Had a heavy period that lasted until January 7th, then started spotting around the 15th and spotted for around a week and a half, and now nothing. First time that I've ever skipped ~ have had TWO periods in a month before, but this is the first time I've ever gone this long without one and I'm so bloated I look to be 5 months pregnant! LMBO~! THIS part I can't stand! I think it's all part of the meno process: the spotting, skipping, heavy, light, etc. If you have had your regular yearly exams and all is well with the results, I'm sure you have nothing to be concerned about. But if it makes you feel bettter, go get checked! I'll just be your doc tells you there is NOTHING wrong!
HUGS!

smile.gif Me, too...I had nearly three months of it...had a bunch of tests and they were all just fine. My Gyno says it's all part of the winding-down process..she just did the tests as a precaution. So, try not to worry--it's all part of the peri ride! dry.gif

So, right after I typed that, I went to the bathroom, and BAM! A flood!!! This lasted for two hours and now it is back to nearly nothing. This happened last week, just as I got off the plane in Florida, too. I stood up and felt the gush. Then two hours later, nothing more than light spotting! Calgon, take me away!!!!!
