I too feel this way, in fact, right now. I get all anxious and obsessive about my heart, which has little racing fits up to 140 or 160 bpm when I am trying to work out. Now I am nervous about working out. But I think it is just around the time when I should be ovulating and again a couple of days before my period. I also notice more night sweats and panicky episodes. It makes me feel like I'm losing my mind and I've had everything checked, some of it twice. I guess it's just perimenopause but try to ask a doctor about that and they all look at me and tell me I'm too young. But I'll be 41 in April.
Kates40 - funny you should mention it. I just got off the treadmill a bit ago feeling all panicky. My heart was racing and I was feeling dizzy - thought to myself I'm gonna die here in the basement.

Started thinking I can only work out when my husband is home in case something happens....funny how one's thoughts get carried away. Looking at my calendar I see I'm a couple days from starting my period. That also explains the wild moods swings the last few days.
I'm 39 and my doctor had no interest in discussing perimenopause either. Thank goodness for the women here! This board's a blessing!
