i just recently read an article on this supplement, and ordered a free sample. from what i read it's made from flax seed, but i'll have to wait and see what all the ingredients are. it's supposed to help with mood swings, hot flashes, insomnia, and a few others.
has anyone heard of or tried this?

I haven't received my free sample yet,but i emailed the company and they said Krogers carries the product.I couldn't find it there nor any other store in my town.I do know it costs almost $20 for a months supply.I have been doing more reading and it seems that eating 3 tablespoons of flaxseeds would be the same as taking one Brevail caplet. It would be much more convenient to take one pill but i can buy a 15 oz. bag of flaxseeds for about $7 and they would last way longer than a month.
I have been reading that flaxseeds help fibrocystic breasts and can regulate the menstraul cycle, has anone had any luck in those areas by eating flaxseeds?

not sure if you got my pm, but i'm not able to take it because of the added ingredients.
the flax works for peri, but not sure about fibrocystic breasts.
just jump in and give it a try! flax is good for the skin and hair too.

Just bumping this thread back up to the top.I am really suprised that nobody seems interested in this product, especially considering you can request a free sample to try it out.I still have my sample, haven't tried it yet though.....i WISH people would at least check out the website and give an opinion.

copied from another site:
"One hundred women participated in a subsequent trial usage program with Brevail and reported improvement in mood, sense of well-being and peace of mind, as well as relief from symptoms related to PMS, peri, pre, menopausal and post menopausal discomforts."
i think i may give the brevail a try after all.I have a doctor appointment friday,i will ask her opinion.

I have used this for about 6 months or more. I originally bought it because of the added benefit of the breast health. I didn't realize it was supposed to help all of these other things. I will say that my breasts feel less lumpy and the terrible breast pain I would get with my period has completely disappeared. It it expensive but I have stuck with it and think I will continue.
Hope that helps.
