My trig is 179, a jump from 163 just three months ago. Does peri make trig numbers worse too?
I haven't really changed my diet. I did have a craving for hot white bread the last two weeks. I didn't fast for the test but my MD said this was a new more sensitive test that did not require fasting. What gives?
I try to eat a balanced diet. Alot of greens and fish weekly. Okay I like my nightly cookie, small piece of cake or scoop of ice cream but this is how I have been for years, even when my trig was 99 just three years ago.

I just read your post and I think I saw somewhere on this site that peri does indeed raise your cholesterol some. If I happen to find the link I'll be happy to post it here for you. Or maybe some knows it. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm sure someone will give you a clear answer.

Livetolove,
That may be a good question to ask of one of the experts on board here. You'll probably get a better answer.

Just go to the Ask the Experts part of the site under the quick links and I'm sure you'll find someone who can answer that question.

Hi livetolove,
My triglycerides and LDL are up too. Last year I had great numbers, and have for years. Now all of a sudden this year I have high cholesterol! The only change in my diet last year was eating more eggs, and I'm wondering if that could have done it. Or maybe it's the peri?
