My experience with the progesterone cream has been very good. It has really calmed my anxiety and I'm able to think clearer then before I tried it, but I still have those moments where I don't remember what I went in to a room to get, but nothing like before.. I think it all depends on the person but for me its been helpful.

Hi Lori,
Last year I was suffering from anxiety, read the book by Dr. John Lee, called "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause", and decided to try a progesterone cream called Femcreme. By the way, it's a great book, explains hormone fluctuations in great detail.
I used the recommended amount of cream and within 2-3 weeks, experienced a great decrease in anxiety. After using the cream for about 6 months, my breasts became very sore and felt kind of lumpy. My doctor told me they felt fibrocystic, but there was no cause for alarm, that many women normally have "lumpy" breasts. In other words, no cancer alarm! Whew. She told me the progesterone cream probably caused it, so I quit the cream. My breasts were just so sore. Everyone is different and perhaps the recommended dosage was too much for me. Maybe I wouldn't have had this happen had I been taking half the amount I was. Anyway, by that time, my anxiety has lessened so much, that it was no problem to stop using the cream.
If my anxiety returns, I would try it again, but I would use half the recommended dosage.
Hope this helps.
