Hey all:
This is really goofy. I have noticed that when my heart races (102 beats a minute) my blood pressure is super low 115/66 or even 99/66 BUT when I have this really low pulse, 61 bpm my blood pressure is 136/82. Now wouldn't you think it would be the opposite?

HI! Looks like I messed up with the post.........sorry!
I am the opposite of both of you. When my pulse is fast and I can feel it beating because I am anxious, my bp is high. I can usually tell even before the doc takes my bp. I wish I could get it under control. If I don't, they won't believe it is white coat hypertension and up my bp medicine which I have to take after my heart attack 6 weeks ago. My bp wasn't high and I was still put on it after being monitored in the hospital for 5 days. It is just what they do after having a heart attack. I am happy to say that my bp was normal at the allergists the day after I saw the cardiologist and it was high from anxiety.
Grace
PS...good for you both for having such great bp.
