does anyone else get these? my head feels full, dizzy and off kilter..like it's going to 'spaz' out or something....

Hey Lisa,

I feel like my head tingles alot...almost like my hair is standing on end. I think one could almost describe it as vibrating. My head does full full and I've definitely been dizzy off and on.

Nurselisa,
I have been getting a lot of wierd head things lately. Sometimes it feels like a bunch of misfiring neurons playing around in my brain. Pulsing, vibrations too. Sometimes I can even hear noises, like crackling kinds of sounds. Sometimes I also hear this "whooshing" kind of thing...which I think could be an adrenalin rush running through my head. I seem to notice it most at night, especially if I have my ear against a pillow....so doing a lot of sleeping on my back lately as it won't bother me as much. Some nights it is mild, other nights it drives me crazy. It all just came on suddenly.

Hi Lisa,

Sounds similar to something I am experiencing too. My head feels full, kind of like a sinus pressure but with no pain. I feel lightheaded and off balance too. I did have the vibration thing in my head a couple of years ago, but not recently. Do you know what nystagmus is-----is that what you mean when you say your eyes move around? This meno thing is really the pits. Who woulda thunk???? sad.gif

Hope you feel better soon. Donna

I still get the full head feeling, but the Jumpy eyes thing seems to have moved on. (or at least I hope so). I would get the jumpy eyes mostly around the time of my period or ovualtion. And I had it for a few yrs on and off. Hope you feel better soon!

Peace

I used to get a vibrating feeling in my head and neck when I tilted my head down. It went on for 2 or 3 months. It seems to have stopped now.

I have been having the feeling that something is jumping around either on or in my head for the last couple of days. It's only on one side..one spot really but it hurts down in my neck on the same side. I kept feeling dizzy yesterday when i would move my head a certain way.

I had to take a XANAX to get the vibration feeling to stop the other night. It was really only noticeable when I was laying down. It s*cks!!!

But of course, my period showed up this morning so that explains everything!!!

Hey Lisa...It's been awhile since I've posted being busy getting my parents moved here, but when I read your post I was reminded how you and I seem to have so many of the same symptoms! Yes..I've had those vibrations as well. I have to think it's peri...and the ups and downs of hormones. I notice mine more when laying down, particularly in the early morning hours. There are times that I wake up feeling like I'm having a little "mini" seizure! I'm aware of all that is going on, but I just seem to shake in my head and neck...physically. Lots of brain "zings" and I notice all this more commonly after I ovulate becoming progressively more intense right before my period. Oh....to get this over with!!! They say we get back to normal but I won't remember what normal is by then! LOL!

I've had some wierd head symptoms but thankfully my periods have almost stopped. Leading up to this I would get dizzy before a period, so it must be when hormones are winding down. I even get the dizzies sometimes around the time my period would be due. The full head sensation is horrible and even affected my concentration so occasionally words would come out wrong. The 'lightheaded' feeling's horrible as well. Felt to me like the sensation of someone whispering softly in your ear but magnified a thousand times. Sounds nice but it was Yuk! wink.gif

Hi Lisa,

Through the yr you and I have been parallel as far symptoms go!!.....Yes,yes, yes!!.I thought i was the only one in the world with this...

I used to have this more often then i do now...and i have to say my symptoms are somewhat watered down now.

This vibration..buzzing is in my head and my lips get involved. This happens when I'm relaxing in bed....almost ready to go to sleep. It feels just like, just as you said.. as if your brain is going to spaz out...or have a mini seizure. dry.gif

It almost feels like rhythmic surges...like a buzzing/pulsing....strange...i know blink.gif unsure.gif

It just started up again after it had gone for a while.I know its hormones but i get very paranoid when this happens.

If I'm not mistaken it seem to happen around ovulation.

Lisa i hope this helps...and that you know your not alone...Feel better,

Hugs,
Lynda

smile.gif Joyful heart,

Welcome back!

YES YES AND YES.All of what you have said is exactly my symptoms also.Well put.Sometimes when i get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom when i get back in bed...my whole body is internally vibrating!

I truly thought i was a neurological mess!!. Well... i am...lol ..Strange what hormones can do.

glad to see you to see you back smile.gif Hope your parents are doing well.

hugs,

I just read this thread and it struck a chord. I get this fullness in my sinus area - no pain - almost a tingling buzzing- like whooshing (for a lack of a better term) and then I get that awful dizzy/offbalance thing and my arms and legs seem almost disconnected to me.
I went to the Doctor yesterday and he's packing me off to the neurologist. It's so bizarre.
