Boy girls am I having the hot flashes today!

A nurse on my team as well as two other people in the company just got laid off! The whole office is in a twirl. I work for Medicare and due to Federal cut backs they had to lay a few people off. We start our new three contract Feb 1. hence the lay offs and restructering of jobs. I use to love change but now it makes me STRESSED! Whenever I have stress whether its good stress or bad stress I always get more hot flashes. I am also very lightheaded, which I think goes along with the hot flashes. Do any of you find your hot flashes worse when your stressed???????????????????? I get hot flashes but not like this. Also, I am on day 2 of my period. Period finally came after 32 days!

Take care,
Jill~

Stress does create hotflashes in me whether it be good or bad stress. I think it is due to my inability to "roll with the punches" like I used to. I want familiarity; I want a set routine; coping with change is hard on me and I don't adjust to those changes like I used to. Even as a medical records supervisor, I have a set routine and to deny me that or in some way think it can be changed is tough on this lady. wink.gif

I agree 100%. I find myself having a hard time rolling with the punches also. Never thought I would be saying that!

Sorry you feel this way too but am glad I am not alone.

I find that stress and change set off not only hot flashes, but other symtoms fo peri. Has anyone tried the homeopathic remedy of SEPIA for hot flashes, anxiety, light-headedness, leg aches? A co-worker recommended it. I went on a homeopathic site and it recommends it for the above, so I went out and bought some. However, the site and the directions on the bottle of recommened dosage disagree. If you have tried SEPIA, how often and and how much did you take? Also did it bring relief for any peri or menopause symtoms? I'd love it if this worked!!!!! Thanks, KGB
