My shrinking labia and clitoris are making me feel miserable. Dont know what to do. No libido either and was a very active woman, now 53. Use estriol cream once every 2 weeks because scared to use more, and using natural progesterone. Managing well otherwise. How do I get the fullness back in my nether regions. Am new to the site so hope this gets through

Well, you must be considering testosterone supplementation to post in this area. I think it has improved things in the "nether regions" for me. Also, much improved "moisture" and libido.

eva2: I have had same problem. Used to use estrace cream, like you, very infrequently. However, I have been using a combo progesterone, estrogen cream formulated for the labia area, for two months. It is Ostaderm-v. First saw it mentioned in Dr. Northrup's book. Did my own research on it. Works great.

Do you have the choice of another doctor? Or perhaps Pete could send you some information for your current doctor.

Or, Connie, you can contact Pete Heuseman (Bellevue Pharmacy Solutions) about getting testosterone.... they have an in-house doctor they can use for the prescription. You can get the contact information by going to the Power Surge Quick LInks in the top right corner of the page. You can cliick on Recomendations, or Ask the Experts, or Transcripts, or Guest Profiles, etc. to get either his email address or 800 number.

Jan,
How long does the shot last? I worry about some of the long lasting ones--if you react badly you are stuck with it for quite a while.
