I mentioned my unhappy marriage in a previous thread -- Tuesday is my 15th anniversary.  I know this should be a joyous occasion, but for the past five years, I have been miserable.  

My husband wants me to exchange presents, but I don't want to get him anything?  Why should I buy something for this verbally abusive, unloving, uncaring jerk (especially since I'm not working). But if I don't get him anything, he'll get angry -- he's that kind of guy.

Any suggestions?

Well, first I'm sorry to hear of your situation.  If you mean by "angry", physically abusive, I would say you need to get out of there and go somewhere safe.  Is there a "safe house" you could go to?
