Has anyone here tried Isagenix? It is supposedly a natural cleanse that helps your body get healthy, work right, and if overweight help the weight come off.

Let me know!

My husband and I started the Isagenix, right before Christmas. We made it through all the holidays - cheating quite a bit. I am down 9 in less than a month and hubby is down 13. Even with the cheating. tongue.gif

I thought I'd revive this thread...I'm thinking of trying Isagenix. I went on this website where you answer 1000 questions about your health (took me 3 days to finish) and then you pay for a report on your health..I went for the full report, reviewed by a very well respected anti-aging doctor (I've seen her on Oprah.) Well I got the results today and I was horrified. First of all, she recommended I do a 'cleanse' with Isagenix, and that it would help me take off the 20 lbs I need to be at my normal weight. I looked at the website and I'm a bit suspicious...it appears they encourage you to not only use the product, but sell the product, and there are many testimonials that sound fishy to me...so I'm looking for anyone out there who has tried isagenix...

The reason I was horrified by the report is it balsically said I'm at very high risk for breast cancer, type II diabetes, and a host of other horrible, dread diseases. Scared the pants off me. The report says I am at high risk for lymphoma, because of my night sweats. I thought my night sweats were from peri!!!

I don't want to post the name of the website because of the rules here against doing so, but it's easy to find if you google the word 'diagnose'...

Oh yeah, the doctor who reviewed it said I have strong evidence of 'mercury poisoning'. I have never eaten a lot of shark, swordfish, or mackerel, and I only take ultra refined, pharmaceutical grade fish oil, but according to my symptoms (and you ladies can relate, I have all sorts of health symptoms these days.) It was recommended that I do a 'cleanse' to get rid of the mercury and that was how I came upon the Isagenix website.

I just don't know if I believe all this stuff about cleanses or not.
Some of it seems like junk science. On the other hand, traditional Western medicine has done little to provide me with relief of my current symptoms.

Comments appreciated...

Isagenix actually worked REALLY well for me... when I posted this thread.. I ended up losing 25 pounds... felt TERRIFIC... so healthy... but then tax season started, computer and employee problems galore, as well as a legal dispute... and I gave up.

I have been meaning to start it again.. but have gotten into such a rut with vegging out with comfort food... mellow.gif Hubby did it, too, mainly for the cleanse part. He lost 22 pounds. He still takes the Ionix supplement every day.

We did sign up to be distributors only because of the price break you get.... we never sold it to anyone... though, if I had the desire for a side business, it would be a good one because the products are so healthy and make you feel good...

P.S. I think I just talked myself into going back on a 30-day program of Isagenix!!!! Thanks!

RubyRose: Thanks sooo much for the quick reply. Did you do the 9 day program or the 30 day program? Was it hard to drink two shakes and one meal a day (sounds like the slimfast diet)...and did you really feel like you were purging your body of toxins? What sort of side effects did you have? Did you find the weight coming off more easily than usual? I'm one of those gals who put on 20 pounds, all the while I'm eating healthier than ever, at least five to seven fruits/veggies per day, and I work out every single morning. The weight is so stubborn..it just won' budge from my body. I'm wondering if the Isagenix will be the difference.

Also: Did it make your blood pressure go up? Did you get diarrhea or constipation?

Finally, how much DOES it cost? There are no prices anywhere on the website...

Thanks..

We actually did a modified 30-day plan... we did 2-days cleanse...5 days lean/green.... and repeated that for 30 days.

I actually found the cleanse days were easier than the days we got to eat a lean/green meal.

Honestly, we felt the most healthy we ever have felt in our lives.

If only that feeling was "enough" make me continue..... blink.gif

My 28-yr old son, who suffers from Chrohns .. did this Isagenix.. using the Isa Flush product in addition to the cleanse program and he lost 32 pounds and is is incredible health for the first time in 10 years.!!!!! tongue.gif
