Has anyone ever heard of this before? someone said "They say if you look at the age of your mother, when she went through menapause. 10 years before that is the age in which you cannot have a baby anymore. And 10 years before that, is your prime time."
Was wondering how true this statement is. My sister said someone saw this in a doctors office but ive never heard it. Was hoping someone else might have? Thanks!! Dunno if this is the right place to post this. Sorry if its not!

Jenfrog98...hehehe that is so untrue...my ma started peri when she was 34,....if that be the case then I shouldnt have the last 3 children I do..I had number 4 child at age of 24, #5 at 27 and #6 child at 34! Then I got my tubes tied after she was born...

What type of whack dr office did she go to???

I think you will find too that the majority of Drs dont know that much about peri/meno and also the text books are way off as well.

Not true for me either. My mother went into menopause at 36. I had my last child at 34, and got been pregnant at 49 and 51, though they ended in miscarriage.
