Do any of you wake from sleep and your cheeks are red. I have just noticed this happening more. They only appear that way for a while after waking and then it fades.

My cheeks are RED RED RED all the time. They are not hot or cold to the touch, just red. Makes me feel like a cherub or one of those Dried Apple head dolls. I wish it would go away. I'd rather be a pasty white like a fresh pallet that I can colour up when required than be this glowing beacon in all weather. Sort of like Rudolph. I am constantly asked if i'm sick? Do I have a fever? Have I been running? Have I been working really hard? Sometimes I think that people believe that I am a heavy drinker, but I rarely touch the stuff. I had a beer about 6 weeks ago, and that one I split with my Dad. Down with Red Cheeks with Perimeno. It's just way too noticable. smile.gif

That's my rant for the day.

Well, my red cheeks are from rosecea....which I use Metrogel for. (prescription topical gel). It tends to vary in severity...but I make sure that I use powder foundation to help mask the reddness, which helps.

Actually Bethann, I have never asked my Doctor about it. If there were a topical lotion or salve that would lessen the redness I would be happy. Do you ever get a bruised looking sheen on your cheeks? Sometimes it seems to be such a vivid shade of red and looking bruised.
