I recently stopped taking b/c pills. I haven't had a period since (about two months). Hubby is still concerned about the possibility of me becoming pregnant. The doctor (female) suggests and IUD.
What do you all think? recommend? advice?

The IUD is the best form of birth control ever invented.....you never even have to give birth control another thought.

How about either one of you getting "snipped"?

I know quite a few women that had used IUD, and they have had to have them removed due to complications with them.

DaMomma.....ouch!

I have not had any trouble with the IUD. Back in the days when IUDs first came out in the market, there was one that caused some issues and infertility in some women, but that is not the case with today's IUDs. I have had no problems with the device and have had it for about 10 years. My gyno told me that the only suggestion is to wait until you are done having children, so that there was no danger of the IUD causing fertility issues in the case of infection, etc. although that is very rare today. I'm not kidding when I say IUDs are the best. They are put in place right there in the doctor's office in just a few minutes, and can removed eventually the same way.
