A very special thank you to my friend, MaryO, for the beautiful greeting, for including Power Surge's mascot, Flora Dora at the top of the screen -- and especially for allowing me to be six again even if only for a day Would it were so that I could've been six between - was it Sept. 23rd when the board first went down? and the weeks filled with a whole chain of nightmarish events and malfunctions with the site - one minute the boards and site were down and then back up. Many of you remember my creating a temporary message board where we could all communicate. As the days progressed it became increasingly apparent that I had to move the whole kit 'n kaboodle (and let me tell you, this SITE is SOME kit 'n kaboodle!) to another hosting company/server. What . . . A . . . Job! A lot of anxiety and suddenly being warned by my doctor that my blood pressure was too high - a definite reaction to all the stress. So, during the past six weeks (when I wasn't six) I haven't been very communicative on the boards, haven't had time to arrange for guest chats or answer most PM's and E.mails. So, please forgive me if I neglected to respond to something one of you may have written to me. I was, as the saying goes, dancing as fast as I can.Things have settled down since the end of September. I was SO glad to hightail it ouf of here November 1st to spend a week with my oldest daughter and her family. In the final analysis, it's all about family. Our families and this family we have right here on Power Surge. I'm glad you're all part of my family. Thank you, again, for wishing me well on another birthday.
