I have been to every imaginable Doc three neuro gyn endo general. foot specilist, chiro, ear nose throat massage reflex , accupuncture and still have the symptons. Some times very tolerable and quiet then others out of my skin. Any recommendations Had nerve condution test and mri xrays blood and thyroid checked hormone levels normal. ???? Don't know what to do now Thanks so much for listening...

Hi Gemlee and welcome to Power Surge,
The vibration and inner tremors is what brought me to this board. I think as you read thru all the different posts you will see what symptons menopause can cause. You've done what alot of others on the board have done which is go to every doctor looking for an answer. After all the tests show nothing 'horrible' we find this website and discover thousands of other women are experiencing the same thing and have no answers from their doctors either.

Check out the "anti-vibration study" group. This is for those of us who really suffer, emotionally and physically, from these tremors/vibrations/buzzing feelings.

Keep on reading and posting and we look forward to seeing you in the anti-vibration thread, also known as "movers and shakers".

I hate this. It comes and goes with me. At the moment I wake up with buzzing in my chest.

Last week my left foot felt like I was standing in something squidgy as soon as I put weight on it (felt like the jelly-like wet sand area where the tide has just gone out blink.gif ) Is it any wonder we feel like we are going crazy?!

HI Alice~

I get the chest buzzing every morning at 5:30. It feels like bees are swarming in there. I hate it too.

Are you joining the study group ? Come hang out with us and we can all try to figure this out.

If not we can at least have a lot of fun and tell a lot of "war stories" about our clueless Drs. that we have all paid to tell us nothing.

Tomorrow is our firsy "official" day we are going to start. Sign up with us if you want to have fun and figure this darn thing out smile.gif

If not, just at least stop by and chat smile.gif

I'll just lurk if you don't mind. smile.gif My symptoms aren't constant. Hopefully I'm on my way to the "other side". I'll keep looking for that thread though!

I've just added an item about Chromium, which might be of interest as someone mentioned about tremors when they get hungry. Might be something to try?

HI Alice~

Lurkers are welcome too... smile.gif LOL It is nice to hear you are finally experiencing victory over this! Good For you!

Thanks for the Chromium tip. Feel free to give us pointers and tips anytime smile.gif

I know there will be a day when we will all look back at this and relize that this did not weaken us but it made us stronger because of it!

Have a grerat day!

It's good to know that I am not alone in this anymore. I've noticed a faint shaking in my chest and abdomen at times. I seem to notice it most when I lie down to go to sleep at night. I experienced a heart arrhythmia a few years ago and have taken medication daily for atrial fibrillation since. But, this feels different, it is not my heart. I have also started having more of a quivering feeling when I have my period. I've never been aware of my uterus before but am now! Fortunately, I am taking birth control pills continuously until Dec when I am scheduled for a TVH. I've been "fighting" surgery for years but am at the point where I have to have it now. The last period I had lasted over a month despite a round of Provera + resuming the bcp's. I have expereinced tingling in my face and scalp for several years now. That has subsided a bit but it feels almost like little electrical shocks when it occurs. I'm hoping that the shakey/quivering/skin crawling episodes will go away after the surgery.
