I have dentures at the age of 54, they were still good as new. Is there anyone have dentures like me? How you take care your dentures?

I have partial dentures, i soak it in polident (kinda like alkaselterzer, you put in water to soak my partial dentures) then i brush them always so that it would not make any bad odor.

I have a partial as well and I soak them overnight with a denture cleanser. Dentist told me to not sleep with them because its better on your gum tissues. I'm 42.

Hows your partial dentures now junnepurl? yeah your dentist is right, its not right to sleep with dentures thats also what my dentist told me coz i try to sleep with my full upper dentures and i have some problems now with my gums but they were okay now. Junnepurl what kind of denture cleanser you use? Niicemom, since when you have a partial dentures and hows your cleanser? Is it really works?

I have a partial denture since i was 43, Yeah, it really works.. i soak them in polident tablet in the evening then in the morning i rinse them thoroughly then brush them in polident toothpaste. How bout you?

I was using ..oh my gosh, I forget the name now. Big name too! um......shoot but now I just buy any one on sale or the cheapest, they do the same job anyway.
My partial is great! I had a temp. partial so I wouldn't go without teeth for 6 months and that was horrible! I kept gagging all the time and having to use poli grip or whatever.
When I got my permenant partial, I didn't have a hard time and now its like 2nd nature to me.

Ohh jennepurl, since when you got your permanent partial? You dont have any problem on using different kinds of denture cleaners?

I've had my permanant partial as of april. No, I set them overnight in a cleanser and it cleans, no matter what brand it is. I rinse it with water in the morning, brush it, start my day.

On what age you've got your partial? Do you still remember what usual brand you did you used?

How bout you niicemom hows your denture so far?

So far so good Just like what i said I always brush my dentures after soaking overnight in polident tablets and i rarely gets badbreath.

Junnepurl, you dont have any problem on your permanent dentures? is that much better on simple dentures like what i have right now?
