I have been on Femhrt for two weeks and have a constant headache that I describe as burning pressure in forehead and eyes. Been getting worse over the last week. My daughter and I will be leaving for Ireland on Friday and I don't want to feel this way. If you have any input, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any feedback? Thanks in advance.

I've never tried FEMHRT, however, if it were me ESPECIALLY if I were leaving on a trip soon, I would consult my doctor ASAP with any prolonged side effect from a new drug. If your symptoms are worsening, that is a sign that you really should be evaluated.
Sorry I couldn't share experiences, and I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks, Kleeo, for the response. I talked with the PA at my Gyn's office yesterday, who by the way, disagrees with my Gyn. She told me that hrt should not cause headaches. Might be sinus (hello, I don't have any sinus problems, nor allergies). I go to follow-up on my physical with my internist today.
I have seen this burning headache thing across the board, so I know that I am not the only one. I have had this face burning, eyes burning headache thing for about 5 years. The only relief I found was from a neurologist who prescribed an antidepressant for overactive nerves in the head and face. I still vacillate between going on hrt and staying off. I also have to consider that I am hypothyroid (controlled) so there is the osteoporosis thing. I'm so glad that I found this site. I thought that I was the only one. Got through 40 years of periods with the associated cramping and bleeding to get to the meno thing. Very disheartening. Thanks so much for your concern and response. I will contact when I return from my trip.

GOOD for you for following up. I hope the headache subsides and you have a WONDERFUL trip. Headaches have been my most painful symptom of menopause. I get the 'damned if I do, damned if I don't' migraines that are torture a couple of times a month (IF not more!), so I do understand how you are feeling.
Keep us posted on your progress..........glad you found this site, too! Power Surge has been my 'safe haven' for YEARS now! Don't know what I'd have done without Dearest and all of the gals I've met here. GREAT support!
ENJOY THAT TRIP AND FEEL BETTER!
Hugs!
