Hi, I just had another bout of car sickness on a 4 hour car drive through the mountains. I've had car sickness all my life, but the last few years (I'm now 49) the car sickness has gotten worse, especially before my period. I was just wondering if this was happening to anyone else and if you've noticed the problem getting worse or noticed anything about it. Thanks.

Hi Marie, and welcome to Power-Surge!
If you bop around on these boards, especially in the threads about Nausea, you'll see that it's not uncommon for women to be more nauseated around the time you mention, just before periods. Some just have it for long stretches off-and-on during the perimenopause stage. I did, and there were times it was hard to take, with weight loss, etc.
If you've always been prone to car sickness, it's possible this is being exacerbated hormonally.
Have you spoken to your doc about it? It might be worth doing so.
Take care - hope this gets better for you.

Thanks for kind words. I do need to ask my doctor and talk about menopause in general with her.
