<_< Hi Everybody, I'm Cathy. Does anyone have knees and hips that jump at night? It feels like I have the hiccups in the wrong place and it is soooooooooo annoying. I am 52 and still peri-menapausal. Sometimes I awake in the morning feeling like I have rhinocerous legs that are stuck in the mud or even like I'm plowing my way through a trainwreck. I'm completely NOT my amusing self? Can somebody help? <_<

Hi Moop,

Welcome to Power-Surge!!

This sounds like Restless Legs Syndrome. You can do a google on this - it's not an uncommon condition. My mom has it, and frankly, I think my 10-year-old Beagle does too, as his little legs go all night long. happy.gif

Good luck to you!

Hi Moops and Welcome smile.gif

JJ is right, it sounds as if you have restless leg syndrome. I have restless legs as well. Especially if I over do things I've noticed. My legs will jump and twitch. I have hubby massage them for me each night and that seems to help. I need to add some mag to my diet as well and have been lazy about ordering some.

JJ ~ LOL! My little fur kids legs legs would go all night as well. I always imagined that they were chasing bugs or birds on the fence line laugh.gif

Cheryl,

Isn't that the cutest thing? I too like to imagine that Norton, who is old and frail now, is merrily traipsing around in his dreams. Sometimes he'll let out a big "woof!" and it's nice to think that he's dreaming he's cornered a rabbit or scared a robber, or done some other thing that's important to doggers.

Dog dreams! laugh.gif

JJ ~ Yes, it is fun to imagine what our fur children are dreaming. My little spitz (Stickey) would woof gently in her dreams. I always imagined that she was bossing me around like she did when she was awake laugh.gif
