And why don't they realize how annoying they are? And why don't they stop doing all those incredibly annoying things? They are irritating the heck out of me!



I mean, really, do they have to stand so close to me in the supermarket? Do they really have to reach right in front of me to grab a package of pork chops when I will be out of their way in a second? And what is wrong with the pork chops right in front of them, anyway? And why do they move so slowly right down the centre of the aisle with their annoying buggies just so no one else can get past them? And then they try to race me to the checkout that I'm heading for, even though several others have same line-ups. Why does the person behind me keep bumping me with their cart or their bags?

And why do they have to sit next to me on the bus or train or plane when there are a zillion empty seats around? And why does their stuff always have to spill over onto my space?

Why do they cut right in front of me whether I am walking or driving?

But mostly, why do they want to talk to me???!!! The only thing I want to tell them is that I can't wait until peri is over and 99% of them would have no idea what I was talking about!!!

The only people that AREN'T annoying are the ones that post here!!!

FauxPas~~You have me chuckling Everything you said is so true!!!! and when we're in peri everything seems 100 times worse! Don't you just want to scream "leave me alone"!! I'd think I was a really nasty person, but I know that in peri we go through that stage of being irritated very easily, and also the stage of wanting isolation. I've never been very social, can be very happy seeing my children, my hubby (sometimes he's annoying ), my best friend and of course all of you PS gals

I loved your post!! I bet so many of the sisters on here can easily relate, I know I can to every word!!!

Oh, and I've even stopped answering my phone, if it's not tele-marketers it's MIL telling me just how awful her life is. Someday I will be able to cope again, but for now I don't need negative people, they bring me down. We have an answering machine, if it's my children or best friend or of course an emergency I pick up right away.

Ha, I stopped answering my phone years ago!!! I screen almost all calls and sometimes I don't pick up even for my hubby! He's learned that if he wants to talk to me, he better give me some incentive... mention on the message that he's bringing home flowers, wine, dinner, etc. Then I MIGHT pick up!

I think email is much more civilized! You can read it and reply whenever you have time, rather than jumping up and responding to someone else's timing needs.

Any you know what is almost as annoying as negative people? Perky people! Or people who say things like "Oh, you'll be through this in no time at all. I was!"

My MIL said "You know I really didn't have any problems with menopause. I guess I got off easy."

If only peri came with a counter... you know, only 167 more days and it's over, or something!

FauxPas I can laugh here, but I'm with ya when I'm "out there". We're being overtaken by idiots!! And how 'bout the ones that say, "you couldn't possibly be menopausal ... that won't be till you're 60. It must be stress." Yeah, & you're stressin' me out!! Ever heard of "peri"??

I know what you mean finola, peri does make things worse. My problem is, I had no tolerance for stupid people before peri. Now? Holy cow! Look out!! Especially idiot drivers. Be on the lookout for headlines about a crazy woman running amuk in Texas!! I may just buy one of those monster trucks & dare them to do something stupid!!

boyzmom~~OMG, the idiot drivers!!! My hubby came home last evening after driving 30 miles from work, and sat down..looked completely disgusted, and said "the only thing I can say is the world has gone totally mad" he has had it with idiot drivers

2 days ago he almost got killed by one, he was heading to work and saw a car crossing the center line, before he knew it, it was heading straight at him, he had to run off the road, lost control briefly of his truck, and still doesn't know how he gained control he said his truck almost flipped over. I guess it wasn't his time to go, and thank the dear Lord for that!!!

Everytime I go out, I get mad at these idiot drivers..what is happening to our world??? We'll all need monster trucks or tanks to protect our lives soon. Go get em' boyzmom!!! I'm hormonal too, and Thank God, I don't have to drive today!!
