blink.gif Has anyone ever had this before? I've seen mentions of it throughout the board, so I know it's pretty common. I've had it twice, and often mistaken it for a Y.I. It looks like little white spores on the walls of the vulva, really vile looking suckers. wink.gif Sometimes, it sticks to the clitoros (does that happen to you?), and it does wipe right off. I've been treating it as if it were a Y.I. I just wanted to know if anyone else had it, if so, what were your experiences, and how did you treat it?

I'll touch wood and say no but I read up on this when looking at IBS (which can be aggravated by candida - it says). There's an interesting site which tells you to alter your diet but I can't post the link as they sell a product. Have a Google!

Hi Breadbandit

I personally have never had thrush. I thought thrush was a yeast infection in the mouth? Same as a vaginal yeast infection but in a different area. Yeast can grow anywhere. It loves dark and moist areas. I had a yeast infection in my ear a couple of years back due to constant fluid being present. I read your other post and wanted to say that yeast infections are very common in diabetics and I'm sure is the cause of your problems. If you can get your blood sugar under control you should see an improvement. Don't be ashamed of your fear about being examined by a gyno. Us women who are much older than you and have given birth still have anxiety over that one!! I'm not sure where you live but here in Canada there is a treatment for vaginal yeast that in in pill form. Check into that and see if its available in your area. Then there will be no need to insert anything. You could just use the cream on the outside area for relief of the nasty itchies!! Good luck honey!! And take care!!

I've been having yeast growing under my breasts!! UGH!

The cream takes care of it for a day or two, and then it returns.

Got to cut out the sweets (sigh)....

Hi breadbandit,

Vaginal thrush is basically yeast infection, have you gotten rid of yours? I have
a hard time with this and can't seem to get rid of it. It disappears after my period then returns after 5 or 6 days, I am so afraid it will never go away.

I am not diabetic as of June but I am getting tested again and probably talk to my doctor to see what may be causing this.

Please help, I have sooo many symptoms, everyday I fight the urge to breakdown and cry.

I am so sad but I try to put a good front for my family, though I have broken down
several times infront of my husband. He tries to understand but it is hard.

I had thrush in the esophagus once after taking a new antibiotic. And OUCH was it painful. I thought I had strep throat...that's exactly what it looked and felt like. A couple diflucan later, and GONE! The only thing I have ever had 'down below' is an occasional itching and slight discharge.

(((JOLIE!))) My Mom gets it under her breasts, too! She uses some kind of cream but not sure what it is.
She said it drives her batty - itching and sore at the same time! sad.gif Hope you get rid of yours soon!!

HUGS!
