Hi Nanc...
Like you I'm cold alot...except when a hot flash comes along

... Or coffee in the morning makes me sweat. My body temp. is usually 97 degrees and the Dr. isn't concerned w/that... Sometimes I take a warm shower to warm up.. Cold hands and cold feet but...warm heart

...
Blessings,
Stacy

yes it is normal. I have the same thing. I am either to hot or to cold. I keep an electric blanket and turn it on at high then I jump in wearing a fleece bottom and top. It will usually take 10 to 15 minutes of this to warm me up. I hope it helps you to know that there are people out there like you.

I too have the cold hands and feet from time to time and low body tem usually 96-97 ... one of the symptoms that concerned me ... doctor wasn't concerned! *BG* Now I realize it is probably all related to this time of change. I use heated rice bags (Bed Buddies from Walgreens or make your own using tube sock and uncooked rice - heat in microwave about 3 minutes) Like merry I am considering the electric blanket! Hazey

Not all the time but off and on. Sometimes just the hands and feet other times I am freezing cold all day long. So I guess it's normal.

My hands and feet are often cold. Sometimes, I am so cold to the bone all over and I can't get warm. Right now I'm cold all over and I had to put the heat on in my house, even though it's not cold outside. I guess that hot flashes could be worse.

Yes, I get this, too! Everyday seems to be different, but usually when I come home in the afternoon about 5 or so, I am cold...on those days, I just jump into a nice, hot shower and warm up...also helps with sleeping, too!

Same for me ... I work in a hospital where it's very cold all day long. I keep a heater on in my office. When I get home, I put on a sweatshirt to warm up - and, I live in Texas where our average temp is currently 98 degrees out!
I really can't complain though, because I have not yet (knock of wood!) experienced hot flashes.
