Hmm Eliza--sounds like a reverse hot flash!  Lol.  I can't say that I've ever experienced that exactly, but I can say that sometimes my nose suddenly turns very cold to the touch, even though it doesn't feel that way.  Check around on some of the other boards--maybe someone else has had this.  Good luck to you!!

Several months ago I had cold, cold feet all the time but inside they felt burning hot. Now the coldness is gone, but the burning sensation is there in my feet and in my hands. Some days are so bad I can barely do anything but hold my hands under cold water or an icepack. Same with my feet. I don't know what to do. Hope you find a solution to your problem.

Hi. I'm 45 and very perimenopausal. I mostly have hot body flushes, but I have also gotten them with cold flashes afterwards. My daughter's been great, runs and gets me a blanket, but it's horrible. When you are having one of the flashes or flushes, you get anxiety and then the body reverses and gets a cold flash. My feet, hands, legs, etc. were so cold. Wow! I hate this!
