Has anyone ever received testosterone injections to help increase your sex drive? My gyn. gives them and woohoo I must say, I have a happy husband when I keep up with them. If I don't get them, I have no sex drive and we're both miserable. Anyone else ever gotten them?

No, I have not received testosterone injections but just had a full hormone panel done last week and my doc is checking all my hormone levels. She did say that she prefers using testosterone cream rather than injections. But the other thing she said was that usually women don't need testosterone and that by balancing estrogen and progesterone can also increase the sex drive is you have a low one. I still don't have the results back so I'm not sure where all my hormone levels are yet. I don't know about the injections - I would be afraid of the masculine results that could happen. You must be receiving a very low dose as women need small amounts of testosterone.

So far I haven't experienced any masculine side effects. It is a really low dose. . only 25 mg. I'll keep you posted on any effects if I have any.

Hi - I've just started testosterone injections. Tried 5omg per fortnight + now up to 75mg. It's just beginning to work on my sex drive !! May have to go to 100mg
