Which is the best form of magnesium to take? I have alot of spasms.

Hi WanaBWell...haven't seen you here before! If you're new, welcome to Power Surge!
I take "Natural" Magnesium at 250 milligrams once daily. I DO believe that it has actually helped my migraine headaches - this could be a coincidence, but since starting it 2 months ago, the headache pain doesn't seem quite as severe. My doctor recommended the natural magnesium, so I really don't know what the difference is. Maybe someone else here can shed some light on this!

There are two types of magnesium - the one for constipation (milk of magnesium), which isn't easily assimilated by the body and then the other (glycate, unsure of the spelling but close enough), which is easily absorbed by the body. Hope this helps.
