Has anyone tried Avlimil? I hope I spelled that right.

Anyway, the commercials are on constantly, so we definitely aren't alone in this struggle!

It looks like it is more aimed at low libido, but I think they say hot flashes and other meno symptoms, too.

I'm going to check it out, at least read the ingredients. It'll probably be the usual stuff, like black cohosh, etc.

Yep, I too saw a rash of commercials and now it has tappered off in the area I live.

I checked out the website when I saw the commercials and the product is geared towards libido.

laugh.gif You were right-on about that being one of the incredients.

I personally have not tired it as I use a cream put out by Emerita that works just fine for me in that department right now wink.gif

Hi,

I sent away for the free trial Avlimil and took it for a month. Got a zero response and was somewhat disappointed.

I'm on thyroid med now for low thyroid and THAT has increased my libido somewhat...at least I think about sex now biggrin.gif

Too bad my husband is 3000 miles away; we are currently living a commuter marriage...

How interesting that you mention this Aimee - I just got on their website yesterday to see what the heck they are all about. The main ingredients of Avlimil are soy isoflavones and black cohosh, and then there are a combination of herbs like valerian for improved sleep, etc.

My concern is that there are some dyes and un-natural ingredients I prefer not to put in my bod.

Also the price is phenomenal! My hub and I could take a trip to Canada on the yearly cost of this supplement.

I didn't sign up for the free sample, but if I wake up desperate enough one morning, who knows? tongue.gif

JolieJacq ~ I too, noticed those ingredients. I do not to take herbs of any kind as when I was trying to conceive I had horrible reactions to most *blah*

Red ~ I really love the Emerita Response Cream. It contains L-Arginine and Ginseng to increase blood flow to the genital area and Ginger Extract and L-Methol from mint oils for a tingly effect.

There are more ingredients that are listed on their website or any other online shop that sells it smile.gif

I also take a L-Arginine supplement as well as it is an Amino Acid to further help with blood flow.

I tried it; nothing happened. I thought it was interesting that the TV commercials started gearing toward menopausal women, etc., after a while. Apparently the "libido" route didn't take off, so they tried us. Don't waste your money.
