[COLOR=purple] I can only use Head & Shoulders for Sensitive Scalps. Any other shampoo dries out my scalp too much and I also lose my hair. Anyone find any other type shampoos similar to Head & Shoulders.
I tried a "natural" shampoo from a health store and had an allergic reaction to it.

Hi Ashlynn,

I found using any shampoo with ammonium anything in it dried my scalp out horribly.
I used good old vo5 with good results for a couple of years. I now use Natures Gate -from the health food store and its working just fine, too. I wash my hair every other day.
Worked for me. Annie

My hair, too feels like straw. and to make matters worse, the last time I coloured it my usual auburn came out blondy PINK! blink.gif
I've tried the conditioners and herbal shampoos, but still pink straw. Fortunately I work at a place where my colour fades into the background compared to the flourescent pinks, oranges and blues of some of my co-workers. Unfortunately I'm not 21 anymore!

Is it a hormonal thing? Do I just keep trying?

Since babies are gentle and skin so soft, I bought baby shampoo. If it is good for babies and their young skin, then it must be good for my sensitive and well deserved skin. At least that is my way of thinking.
