Has anyone used the Climara patch? My GYN started me on 0.025 its been 3 1/2 days now & I feel no different then I did before. The anxiety is still going through the ceiling.
Please any advise or experiences.

Hey Nancy - my doc started me on it when I got depressed and had bad urinary tract pain. Didn't help me, either, but I know there are lots of women who have benefitted from it - it's a very safe way to get estrogen into your system.

Sorry I don't have a glowing report for you. Hang in there - anxiety can be terrible and I'm sure you'll find something that works.

Nope, I gave up after a few months since it wasn't making any difference in anything. I'm MUCH better than I was a year ago, though still dealing with tons of peri junk. Partly it's acceptance, partly I really am better - less pain and depression, clearer thinking, more energy. See - I did have SOME good news

I ripped the patch off today. It wasn't helping at all. Going back to progesterone cream, hopefully that will work.
Just have to keep trying until it gets better.

HEY NANCY0531, MY DOCTOR STARTED ME OUT ON CLIMARA BUT THE PATCH DID NOT WORK WELL. IT DID NOT STICK WELL ON MY SKIN AND CAME LOOSE AFTER 2 DAYS. THE BEST PATCH FOR ME HAS BEEN THE VIVELLE DOT NATURAL ESTROGEN PATCHES. THEY ARE SMALL AND DO NOT COME OFF TOO EARLY. YOU DO CHANGE THEM TWICE A WEEK. IN BETWEEN USING THE CLIMARA PATCHES MY DOCTOR HAD ME TRY ESTROGEL GEL. I HAD HORRIBLE HEADACHES FROM THIS GEL. I FEEL ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ON THE VIVELLE DOT. I DO NOT HAVE ANY NIGHT SWEATS OR HOT FLASHES. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THEM OUT. DR PETE FROM ASK THE EXPERTS RECOMMENDED THEM TO ME. TAKE CARE. TALLY

Thanks for the info. I will give a shot. Last night I started with Pro-Gest cream, I finally slept through the night. Maybe I'll just stick with this for now.

If the ProGest works by itself, I'd definitely stick with that. I used it for years and it worked great, but as I got (get) closer to menopause, it wasn't enough.

I now use Climara .025 and it works fairly well. But I can't see how it would work for anyone in 3 1/2 days, honestly.

Do you use the CLimara patch with the progest? Maybe I will give it another shot.
I have grown very impatient & want to feel good ASAP. Please give me your advise.
Its so nice to hear words of wisdom.
