I subscribe to the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network due to some pretty nasty food allergies I have. This was sent out to members this morning. Since I know many of us have various skin disorders, I thought it appropriate to pass this along. We are passing along this information to any of our members who might be
using Elidel or Protopic to treat atopic dermatitis (eczema).
FDA Warning: Elidel and Protopic
The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning about a possible risk
of cancer in patients using Elidel and Protopic. While it is currently not
clear that there is truly a risk, you may want to discuss this issue with
your doctor.
