Just got some blood tests back that show my DHEA is high ( normal range 39-183) Mine is 219. Testosterone level free was 5 and bound was 10 total was 48. My doctor has not a clue. She said stop the testrone cream and retest blood in three weeks. Has anyone had any experience with a doctor who understands what it means? or any durgs that can affect or raise DHEA? I am on vagi-tabs but was told that is not absorbed in your blood stream. Initially asked to have my blood tested as my scalp itched and my hair was thinning. Can the use the over the counter phytoestrogen cream on the skin ( not interanally) can that affect your DHEA level? or blood estrogen? Can estrogen cream affect your testestrone level? Any ones feedback or expereinces would be helpful. I can find little on the internet. THANKS
