Shimmerrr
Hi , I'm 45 and for the last year my periods have been 3-4 days early and new peri-meno was already in motion by the other symptoms i have been having for the last couple years. This month totally went haywire! I started this period 10 days early , and i'm still bleeding 6 days into it. I've NEVER bled more then 4 days. Another thing is lower ab pain/ cramps ALL across that feel more like when i get a cyst on my ovary each month when i ovulate and that always goes away after 1 or 2 days. Has anyone had these symptoms in the begining stages? Thanks in advance !

Hi Angel Welcome! Yes - that sounds totally normal. Me, I'm 45 this month and have been getting those ovary pains for about 5-6 years. The periods changing can start at various ages. I have had them fluctuate a lot over the last few years - even skipped a few over the last year. The main things to remember is that you are not alone - you have tons of company in your questions and symptoms - and that Power Surge is a great place to get information, conversation, support and all sorts of things. Take care of yourself, learn what is normal, watch for changes, and come here any time you need or want more information or ideas. Click here for some info on perimenopause (which is the time when you are still getting periods, but things are starting to change): http://www.power-surge.com/educate.htm Here is a great page - one of my faves here - it tells you many of the most common signs of menopause: http://power-surge.com/educate/menoprimer.htm I know the extra days of bleeding are no fun - but are you feeling ok otherwise? You may be experiencing changes in your cycle, but hopefully you are otherwise feeling well and eating & sleeping ok. smile.gif If not, there are loads of ideas here..... Again, Welcome. You are in good company. smile.gif -Mary Beth

P.S. I know many Gals get those pains....Advil does work well if you can take it. But a GYN check up just to make sure everything is ok would also be a good idea. -Mary Beth

Hi Beth , Thank you so much for those links. Will be heading straight there after this post! Yes , Other then this , i'm feeling ok. 2 1/2 years ago i had a car accident , that caused me to have whiplash & back probs. After that took place , my energy level took a huge drop , made everything 10 times harder to do. NOW , out of know where my energy is back 75 % biggrin.gif I'm not sure if it has anything to do with what's going on with me now , but DaYum!! I'll take it ! Just seems odd that it comes back after 2 1/2 LONG years of None , while my body is starting this , dont you think ? Anyway , i'm off to read your links . Thank You Again
