Does anyone pass white like tissue from using the estriol cream vaginally for atrophy. I just thought it was dead cells of dryness. Pete had not heard anyone mention this symptom. Now I am wondering if I have a constant yeast infection that is causing my distress. Help me fast.

Hi robertls, Yeast infections are very common during this part of life. To keep your fears under control, see your doc. There are lots of home-grown remedies you can use to keep yeast infections at bay. I douche with hydrogen peroxide, and it works great for me - but check with your doc first. Just wanted to let you know that I suffered from constant yeast infections until late last year when I went to the doctor and he put me on a sugar free -low carbohydrate diet. He also subscribed lots of diflucan and nistatin. As a benefit, I have lost 15 lbs. and feel great. In addition to not having any more yeast infections, I no longer have headaches either.

Yes, it does look like white-like tissue! I thought I was crazy when I noticed it! Yes, I've experienced it. I was using and est-ring that is inserted into the vagina for atrophy. I took it out, so I don't think I'm experiencing any more white tissue, but yes, I've seen it, too.
