This for me is a milestone. This week I passed my driving test. It was my 4th attempt. I 'just missed' passing the other times (I'm in the UK, I'm told it's a harder test here than in the US!) Anyway, I am 49, learning to drive, initailly getting behind the wheel was the scariest thing I ever did. Now, I love driving, have my own car, and now I have my licence before my 50th birthday, which was my aim. It feels good biggrin.gif

Beth, YOU GO, GIRL!!!biggrin.gif:D:D:D I am so proud of you! Getting a license can be very daunting - my mum could never do it after my dad passed away, and has really missed having that independence. But you tried, hung in there, and HAVE DONE IT! I'll envision you scouting down the road, sunglasses on, hair blowing in the wind! CONGRATS! Jacquie

Hi Beth, Good for you! I have been driving (legally) since I was 15 (illegally since 12). I am not sure I would be able to pass the written test anymore. More POWER to you Girlfriend!!! Peace AA
