All, I just signed up because I'm looking for some answers. Within the day 2 days, I have been experiencing these warm sensations throughout my entire body but with no external sweating or perspiring. The "flashes" seem to come in half hour internals and last for about 1 minute. Today, Im experiencing back aches and my hands and feet are cold. Are these common signs of menopause?

Could very well be signs of menopause! But never take ANY symptom for granted - check with your doctor first! They sure do sound like typical meno symptoms, though. I get back aches on occasion and my hands and feet get cold sometimes, too. Hi, I remember when I had my first hot flash, and it felt as you described it, a warm sensation that kind of "flushed" over me, with no sweating. Came about every half-hour, yep! Don't know about the backache and cold hands & feet, tho' I get these sometimes (but always have). I've never had actual sweating with hot flashes; it's more a sensation of warmth, mostly in my face. Welcome to the club!
