I get depressed when I get an attack, but am only depressed sporadically. I never used to get depressed at all.

The worst thing is that I am now questioning the existence of god. I mean how can a benevolent god treat half the populaton of the world like this?

Women get screwed from the time they hit puberty (cramps, periods, the pain of child birth, working and taking care of the house, and now this).

I really think god has no use for women (if there is one) and we were just put here for procreation. Men enjoy sex way more than we do too.  Real fair, huh?

Hi,It's God and my family who keep me going. But, last 6-8 months have been experiencing really bad depression and anxiety for the first two weeks of my cycle then "praise God" I have two OK weeks. Have just tried HRT patches for 2 months and tablets 2 months to see if it will help but so far no change.I am wondering what to do next???I will see the Dr again next week but don't know what to say or do.

I also experience anxiety and depression.  Have you discussed Natural Hormone Replacement Thearpy with your doctor?  This is using bioidentical hormone replacement rather than synthetic with HRT.

Let me know, what your Dr. says.  I am waiting to see my gyn at the end of this month.  I am hoping to find some relief from this as well.

I've found progestins/progesterones make me<br>severely depressed. &nbsp;I think this hormone is<br>the premenstrual culprit. &nbsp;I know some have<br>wonderful luck with natural progesterone.<br>Testing hormone levels that are continuously<br>fluctuating doesn't make much sense to me.<br>What brand HRT were you on??
